Originally from Northern California, Todd began working at George Lucas’s Industrial  Light and Magic studio during his last year of college. Working in their commercials  department on campaigns for Gatorade, Dodge, XM Radio and Budweiser among  others provided an in-depth introduction to all aspects of commercial production, visual  effects, and the world of advertising.  

Todd moved to Los Angeles to attend the American Film Institute in 2001 and has been  working as a Production Designer for the past fifteen years.  

Past television projects include the critically-acclaimed IFC series Brockmire (starring  Hank Azaria, JK Simmons and Amanda Peet), HBO’s 7 Days in Hell (starring Andy  Samberg and Kit Harington), the Netflix/Will Arnett series Flaked, produced by Mitchell  Hurwitz, WOKE, starring Lamorne Morris for Hulu and Killing It starring Craig Robinson,  created by Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici for NBC’s Peacock streaming service.  

Feature film highlights include John Dies at the End. Based on the best-selling novel,  Don Coscarelli’s cult-film John Dies at the End stars Paul Giamatti. The Theatrically released indie noir Too Late starring John Hawkes and was ambitiously shot on 35mm  film and comprised of five 20+ minute shots and In Search of Fellini, starring Maria Bello  and Ksenia Solo, was theatrically released after filming in Rome, Venice, Verona and  Milan. 

Most recently Todd finished production on the highly anticipated dramatic series, Tulsa  King created by Taylor Sheridan and Terrence Winter, starring Sylvester Stallone. This  series is set to release on November 13th on Paramount+.  

Also coming soon is the feature film, Paint, starring Owen Wilson and set for theatrical  release in 2023.
